Nancy Fiamingo

    A native Baltimorean, I was born and raised in the Free State - Maryland.  My husband, Vince, and I made a few corporate moves, to Horseheads, NY and Lancaster PA before settling in Strongsville in 1984.  We have been blessed with three children, Lauren, Shannon, and Kevin.  I was a stay-at-home Mom for 16 years and took advantage of many volunteer opportunities in our community, including teaching Confirmation classes and then coordinating the Confirmation program at SJN.

    In 1996 I began working as Youth Minster at SJN.  I consider it an honor and privilege to hold this position.  My work with the youth of our parish has been an extraordinary blessing in my life.  It is so amazing to witness the teens' enthusiasm, joy, generosity, spirituality, vigor, and their humor.  I attended LIFE TEEN Basic Training program in '97 and then completed the Advanced Training Program, jointly sponsored by LIFE TEEN and Franciscan University of Steubenville, in '98-'99.  The LIFE TEEN Program is a great vehicle to encourage the teens to grow in their faith, for LIFE TEEN, like our parish, is centered around prayer and the Eucharist. 

    In my free time (?!), I like to read, write retreats and LT programs, try out new restaurants, spend time with family, and find ways to get away from Cleveland's weather in the winter time.  I especially enjoy the writings of C.S. Lewis, Peter Kreeft, Scott Hahn, and Pope John Paul II.  I enjoy all kinds of music, theater, and sports.
